KIM KARDASHIAN CANNES 2016 TUTORIAL

Welcome back loves!
Last week was the Cannes Film Festival and I saw on Makeup By Mario's instagram the look he did on Kim Kardashian and I fell in love. It was so simple but yet so elegant and I knew I wanted to recreate it for you guys with a little twist - this tutorial can be used for any eye shape but I focused more on people with hooded eyes, like myself. I will have another video up later on this week, so be on the look out for that! If you guys would like a tutorial on how I did my hair in this video (although it was pretty quick and easy) let me know down in the comments! If you guys have any other celebrity inspired tutorials you'd like me to recreate from Cannes or the Billboard Awards or any ideas in general, let me know on my social media or down in the comments! :) Have a wonderful week and Happy Monday XO
P.S. If you recreate this look or any of my other looks - i'd love to see them! Hashtag #glambykait on Instagram or tag me so I can check them out XO

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: ARTIST MAKEUP ACADEMY

Hello Beauty Lovers,
Last month I made the decision to attend and become a Artist Makeup Academy student. For those who have never heard of this school, it is a wonderful, well-known beauty school in Hoboken, New Jersey run by amazingly talented makeup artists. Tons of celebrity makeup artists and YouTubers have attended this academy for events, workshops, and also just to stop by and say hello. To name a few like Carli Bybel and Hrush. As soon as I saw the Artist Makeup Academy instagram, I knew this was the school for me and taking a tour and talking with the girls there today just validated that even more. They made me feel so at home and so welcome, like I had known them all forever. I even got to meet my future teacher and she was a sweetheart. I am starting in September and I could not be happier or more excited. I know this is the right decision for me to expand my makeup knowledge and help me pursue my passion as a makeup artist. I highly recommend all of my subscribers and readers to check this school out if you are in the NJ area. I will keep everyone updated on my journey at this school once I start.

#MOTD - MY CURRENT FAVORITE LASHES

Hello Beauties!
My current favorite lashes definitely have to be the KoKo Queen B Lashes! Available HERE. They have been my most used and go-to for the month of April. They're dramatic and wispy but also light weight in my opinion. They don't make my eyelids feel heavy or give me a headache like other dramatic wispy lashes seem to do. Highly recommend getting your hands on a pair before the sell out again, they go quickly! About to stock up on about 3 more pairs myself. I love how they make my eyes look bigger than they naturally are. They say smaller eyes should stay clear of big dramatic lashes, but I like to go against the rules. I actually think and say the opposite. Smaller eyes tend to look larger and more awake and open with larger dramatic lashes. Step out of your comfort zone and give these a try. Want to know what else I'm wearing on my face? Check out below!
